I mix several techniques: monotype, linocut, drypoint, Carborundum, Chine appliqué, collage, etc.

"Pernille Picherit's "FOLDINGS" plunge the public into a graphic and minimalist universe inspired by the architecture of her native Denmark, and Japanese origami. The artist creates abstract works imbued with sensitivity and modernity, reflecting her own emotions.

Her creative process responds to an essential quest for harmony, illustrated by a perfect balance between the full and the empty; a subtle combination of shapes and colours.

Using a mixture of techniques, Pernille Picherit brings her "FOLDINGS" to life by combining inking, folding, collage and embossing, enabling her to capture the finesse of detail, infuse colour into the print and freely express her emotions.
